LESLIE UGGAMS REPRISES HER ROLE AS MUZZY IN PITTSBURGH CLO’S “THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE”

The Limited Engagement Runs August 7-12 for Eight Performances Only at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh

Leslie returns to one of her most fun-filled Broadway roles when she once again plays the glamorous nightclub singer Muzzy Van Hossmere in the Pittsburgh CLO revival of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. The show runs August 7-12, for eight performances only, at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts, 7th Street and Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA.

In the original Broadway production, Leslie stepped into the role of Muzzy from April 2003 through June 2004. She performed opposite both Sutton Foster and Susan Egan as Millie Dillmount, the flapper who ends up marrying for love instead of money. Muzzy belts out the Jazz Age-style torch song “Only in New York” and swings on the Charleston-inspired “Long as I’m Here with You.”

Tickets for THOROUGH MODERN MILLIE start at $25.75 and are available online at the Pittsburgh CLO website or by calling the Box Office at 412-456-6666.
