Leslie Uggams will make a guest appearance on the hit HBO drama series THE GILDED AGE during the show's upcoming Season 3. Leslie will play Mrs. Ernestine Brown, a friend of Elizabeth Kirkland (played by Phylicia Rashad) and a member of the Black elite community in Newport, RI.
According to press notes, THE GILDED AGE takes place in 1880s New York City and follows the lives of both old and new money members of high society (and their servants) as they navigate the economic and social changes of their time. Railroads, fancy lady glove parties, opera wars, this show has it all!
