Leslie Uggams will make a guest appearance on HBO's hit series THE GILDED AGE on Sunday, August 3. The episode airs and begins streaming at 9pm ET/PT. Leslie plays Mrs. Ernestine Brown, a friend of Elizabeth Kirkland (played by Phylicia Rashad) and a member of the Black elite community of Newport, RI.
According to press notes, THE GILDED AGE takes place in the 1880s in NYC and Newport, RI and follows the lives of both old and new money members of high society (and their servants). The hit series has recently been renewed for a fourth season.
